CS MOTO® VARIATOR – FULL STEP TURBO VERSION T MAX 500 2004–2011

The CS MOTO® FULL STEP TURBO variator for Yamaha T MAX 500 is engineered specifically for turbocharged engines, where torque output is significantly higher than stock.

The dedicated FULL STEP geometry is designed to maximize belt traction, ensure stability, and correctly transfer turbo-level torque without slippage.

CS MOTO® TECHNICAL MODIFICATIONS TURBO VERSION

• Upper and lower tracks fully reprofiled to increase effective variator travel
• shorter ratio at take-off :stronger acceleration
• longer ratio at high RPM : higher top speed
• Engineered to maximize belt traction under high turbo torque.
• CS MOTO® modified variator pin (shims NOT recommended).
• Re-machined collar to prevent belt contact at take-off.
• Modified Malossi counter-pulley with recessed machining to extend travel and top-end ratio.
• Designed for stable torque transfer under boost.

IMPORTANT

To fully exploit FULL STEP travel:
the variator cover must be modified to prevent belt contact (due to the increased travel).
